The Big Pink's "A Brief History of Love" came out of nowhere yet quickly became one of my favorite records of 2009. I always thought they sounded like a british Tough Alliance with big stadium hooks-a-plenty and a more 'in-your-face' punk atittude. Their sophomore album on 4AD "Future This", which is due in January 2012, sounds like it's going in the same direction. The infectious first single off that album "Stay Gold" has a video which you can watch below:
